My name is Carly and I am doing this review on behalf of the Paper Doll Gang and "Invalid Item"  .
I have just completed your wonderful contest "Invalid Item" , which I found when looking for some fun Birthday activities and wanted to share my thoughts and appreciation with you. Please keep in mind this is only my opinion.


Overall Impressions:
You and PatrickB have done another wonderful adventure here at Writing.com. Not only did you harvest poems for a worthy cause... you gave rewards to those willing to submit their poetic attempts. In addition, you challenged us to stretch our creative voice and attempt to write seven different forms. Some were a joy to write, others really challenged us and I loved every minute of it. I now have current examples of those poetic forms and have gotten to read many fabulous poets and their work.


Layout:
Your contest was well laid out and eye catching. I think I found the link when another person posted the link and I followed my curious nose.
I really appreciated all the poetry contest links you included. I will have other opportunities and venues to try now that the Harvest is over.
Everything was well thought out and well explained.
People had the option to follow the challenge or simply have their poems harvested at the 'primary' level.
Do's and Don't clarified any doubts on what was expected.


Favourite Part:
The challenges. Some of the choices were 'cruel' (the Sestina) but in the end, I appreciated the stretch I had to make to learn and create poems in forms new to me. Thank you for that.


Suggestions:
The only thing I can think of was the links for the types of poems were sent to a link that was again redirected - that worked but it was a little disconcerting the first time I checked it out. Once I realized what was going on I was fine with it (though I also have a link to shadow poetry on my laptop - .


Additional Comments:
Thank you so much for this contest. I do hope you will do it again - whether for next years birthday or even at another time when harvests are lovey. I loved the challenge and the list of other contests. It is always great to use your poems across several contests. All for fun, creating and raising funds.


I thoroughly enjoyed this contest and hope to have another adventure in it again. Thank you for sharing and creating it. I hope my review was helpful and encouraging!
