Overall Impression:

An excellent essay or article with documentation in response to the question: "Is the word 'morality' derived from religion? I agree with your definitions and explanation of how they are two very different 'things' 'concepts' "ways of living' as you've proven something more: that religion cannot be trusted to always bring forth morality with examples. Your examples are well known world wide through America's news stories: "Jim and Tammy-Faye Bakker were popular televangelists before fraud and a sex scandal brought an end to his ministry. Jim Jones led a mass-suicide at his Peoples Temple...} I'm glad you used these two examples for they stand out solidly as evidence that not all religious people are moral.

Without 'religion' children are taught moral concepts from the day they can understand right and wrong; that teaching lasts throughout their lives, from the cradle to the grave individuals choose morality every single day; some choose among many religions at specific times as it's a choice even when they 'follow' poorly-trusted leaders like you've named.

I am impressed by the evidence you used to prove your premise and with the clarity your article shows.
