What a nice little piece about two retired people who are growning older together. It's warm and sweet and makes me smile to think about this couple. I can visualize Bill getting excited over winning, like he got away with it again. Polly knows that one of them will be gone someday, so why not let Bill have his fun riding her pink bike and honking the horn.

I liked this very much. It made me feel happy, yet a little sad that life goes by so quickly. You've written a charming little piece, however, and followed the prompt nicely.

I loved the lines:

She had thought about just putting the horn on his bike, but the game was too much fun for Bill. And when he “won” he was so happy honking that horn at everyone as he rode by on the pink bike that he made everyone they met laugh, and Polly too. So, secretly she made sure he won a lot.
