Dear Alice. I can't review your writing like I usually review stories that I find around this community but I also couldn't just read this and move on to the next one without saying anything. I know that there is no a single word that would make feel better the narrator of this indeed sad story and only those who has been through similar situation may understand that pain. I know that you found your place and peace in writing and I think that's a great way of healing broken heart. At least for a start. Some people turn to God and religion, some people loose their selves in the pain and some people try to live with it in the best possible way. No one could ever think how strong we might be to survive and save our existence when such event occur in our lives. I'm really sorry for what you've been through and for everything that you will still go through whenever you remember this unlucky day.

I'm sorry to hear that your daughter Ava is not with you anymore. I can be positive by saying that she is now in the better place than this but it still wont bring you back as that's the only thing we want when we loose the child. I hope that as the time pass by you will learn that acceptance of God's will is the only thing left in our now empty life because it had to be like that for some reason. I will never understand why the children has to be chosen one and I read somewhere an excuse for it. It says like this: why God is taking away innocent creatures? And the answer to that was: when you're in your garden, which flower you're gonna pick up? The most beautiful one. It's kind of the same thing.

I hope you found things that are filling up the emptiness that you might feel some days in your life and that writing will help a little bit to take it out of your heart. I know also that there are no words to help you to express that pain but at least you made first step by writing how it all happened. Thank you for sharing your pain with us, it sounds creepy I know, but I'm sure you'll find much more people in here that went through this kind of loss. We know that life didn't stop to happening to us simply because we are still here no matter what. Keep writing and welcome to Writing.Com. All smiles..*Smile*
