Hi A.J.Caesar - Julius Caesar , Welcome to WDC from "Newbie Welcome Wagon" ! Concept: With so many prompt-based contests on the site in probably every genre, coming up with a unique spin is a real challenge. Featuring the names of full moons as one of your prompts is a clever and appealing idea. Graphics: Your banner image is amazing. The blood red moon on a completely black background lets your prospective entrants know they are in for a contest on the darker side. Rules: You have kept your rules simple and straightforward, but there are a couple of things for you to consider. Having no specified maximum word count is a bit unusual in a contest defined as a short story contest. What if someone submits a 25000 or 50000 entry? Would you still accept it? I like that you have come up with a deadline that incorporates your contest's theme, but what do you plan to do when there are two full moons in a month or no full moon - though admittedly the latter won't be an issue until February 2018 Donations: You accept GP donations, and I like that you publically list your donors on the contest page. Do you offer any incentives/rewards for donors? Merit Badge? Awardicon? Prizes: Your prizes are the standard prizes awarded by any new contest, and are commensurate with the places you award. Prompts: You provide three image prompts per round, and you also have a bonus prompt that incorporates the current round's full moon. Entrants can base their story on one or more of these prompts. Having four prompts (that can be mixed and matched) should allow for a nice variety of stories. Additional information provided: You provide a large amount of additional information within various dropnotes. You elaborate on what is contained within the supernatural and paranormal themes, and you provide a lot of interesting background information on your contest's origins. This is extra information that is not vital to entering your contest, which is why I like that this is all contained within dropnotes - people can choose to read it all or not and it doesn't clutter up your forum page. You also provide a very detailed explanation of your judging criteria. I like this, and it will prove to be a good resource for your contestants. Closing remarks: You have everything pretty much covered with the contest, and it's great that you provide your entrants with a very detailed review. Thank you for sharing this item! Please keep on writing! This review is being given as part of the "Black Magic Birthday Review Bash" , presented by "The Dark Society" Andy~hating university ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **
