A child's curiosity is well highlighted. The special relationship between the grand child and the grand parents too is shown in detail. Davy is lucky enough to have made this trip to the farm house and the farm. It seems educative for a child of his age. He could see and understand what a farm animal is and the way activities around the farm go on.
Short paragraphs are well connected and the story is written in a simple and appealing style.
Dialog between the characters is natural and spontaneous.
It makes a good read for the kids as well.
