Is humanity really human? May the beast lurks in many of us, to which we do not admit. The last line is like a challenge thrown to all those who call themselves sympathetic, altruistic and charitable.
This note has made me think about my concerns for the fellow human beings and question my values. It also pulls up my conscience. Looks like I am neither a villain nor a hero. I fall in between and do average.
Another nice observation made in the article is the way we blame others whenever we find ourselves in trouble. The real reason behind our state is our own selves. Still we don't miss the opportunity to blame on society because that is the way with us, the imperfect human beings.

It serves a lot of food for thought, no doubt.
