I love this piece of creative writing. It was not what I was expecting and I love the unexpected. This piece to me feels like a scene which could be expanded if you choose to do so and write a nature type of story with the adventures of this character exploring our natural world. You did a very good job with building the reader up to thinking I knew what would happen and your love happened to be a dung beetle which is beautiful in how you describe and show us this.
