Life is one of the broadest topics to write on, especially in poetry. There are hundreds and thousands of interpretations of life, of nature, it's purpose, why there is life and etc. I, too, when started out writing poetry, wrote one on life as well. I guess this is pretty much the beginning topic of any person new to poetry because it is easy and every one has their own perspective about it.

The reason I was intrigued to read your poem was because I had never heard of a Gogyohka poem and wanted to know what kind of a poem it was. It would be helpful for the reader to know and to check the poem if you would provide some details about the Gogyohka poetry form or share a link with the reader that tells it.

Although short, your poem was quite meaningful and it had a lot of depth. I, personally, can relate and agree with your perspective of life. You poem reminded me that yesterday I was at my aunt's house and we were discussing when my cousin asked "Describe life/world in one word" and I said evolution, progress. As many have said before, life is like a roller coaster ride and we don't know which path it may take, there are ups and downs, there is adventure, thrill, fear, sadness and everything new to us. However, at the end, it's a test, and according to my faith, a test of how well you did in this world and was it enough to earn a good place in heave or not.
