![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A Review from "SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP" ![]() Hi Cinn ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There are two reasons why I chose to read and leave a review for this poem. The first reason, the same as I stated in the review earlier, that this poem had an awardicon on it and I wanted to know more about it. The second reason was the title and the short description of the poem that made me think of all the silly things I did and must have done in my childhood and how easy it was being in those years compared to the things all of us have to face after we grow up. The theme of your poem really appealed to me because it's the reality, when we grow up, our imagination becomes realistic and sometimes due to that, we become pessimists. There are so many other things that come with growing up other than responsibility, it is the death of your closed ones as time, years pass by, it's the increasing stress especially for earning a livelihood for yourself and your family in the current situation of unemployment and prices touching the sky and continuing to go higher and higher each day. Whenever I spend time with children during any volunteering post or internship, I enjoy it because of how curious, cheerful and carefree they are. They enjoy the littlest things in life and believe in the tooth fairy, the santa etc. The flow of your poem was good, it flew smoothly when I read it out loud and my favourite stanza from your poem is the last one because I could relate to it the most. There are so many circumstances and situations where we feel defeated, hopeless and at that time, we need the hope shown in the Grim Fairy Tales and stories, wishing for a miracle to occur but as I mentioned above, as we grow up and grow realistic, we become pessimistic too. You captured the emotions of growing up perfectly! ![]() ![]() Write On! ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ![]() ![]()
