![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A Review from "SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP" ![]() Hi Cinn ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The cover photo of your poem caught my attention because I have never read anything on WDC featuring a cinema, theatre or an exhibition and therefore I wanted to know what kind of grandeur the poet was referring to in this poem, whether it is referred to a show, a play, a show or an art gallery. What a sad and at the same same, beautiful poem! It made me remember The Lorax movie where everything in the nature, things that exist, the art is being destroyed only to establish nothing but industries that will create pollution. Any way, the idea that seemed similar between the two is the destruction of everything good. The opening stanza of your poem was beautiful because it set the setting as well as the mood in the poem, the vocabulary you have used enables the reader to imagine herself sitting at one corner of an abandoned theatre wondering how the people watched the stage, full of excitement and thrill and how the actors and actresses must have felt during the performance and hearing the applause for them. It mad eme think as if I had ties with the theatre just like the poet may have and it's sad to see it all gone now. Sitting there, your mind remembers the events you saw there, just like a movie, that runs in your mind ending at the isolated, dusty place. This is the reason I loved the opening stanza and it is my favourite from your poem. ![]() ![]() Write On! ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ![]() ![]()
