Hi Cinn Author Icon! A very *Balloonr* Happy WDC Anniversary *Balloony* from House Martell at "Game of Thrones" Open in new Window.!

I saw this as another one of our awarded poems and wanted to know what kind of a plank is being referred here, whether it is related to pirates or something else. I don't think I have read any poetry before from Frost but it's a nice idea to write something based on a quote or a line from a poem of your favourite or one of your favourite authors. The reader can relate perfectly to the first stanza, therefore hooking the reader into your poem. Many times in life we have to choose a path and once we have chosen that path, it is impossible to turn back or away no matter how hard we try. Therefore, we have to suffer the consequences of failing to do that or reach the path. You sum up a simple, relate-able thing in life in a beautiful way by comparing your path to walking a plank whose other side is a bad end.

You demonstrate your struggle with your path and goal chosen by comparing it to actually running away on a road that you don't know where it leads to or ends. The flow of your poem was good, there wasn't any interruption and my favourite stanza were the ninth and the tenth ones because of the emotions of regret, sadness and hopelessness the reader feels. In the seventh stanza, I loved how you painted the imagery of flakes vanishing in water perfectly. That was one scene in the entire poem that was in my mind and I loved it.
