Review brought to you by: "Game of Thrones" by Gaby What I read ~ Lora is a wreck after her husband Roger dies. Just leaving the funeral home is a hardship for her. Once back home, the reality of it all sets in. The house is empty without her life partner and getting out of bed proves difficult. Her children are worried about her, and knowing that is enough to get her to start to live her life again. What stood out ~ Grief is such a powerful emotion that it can be paralyzing at times. You showed this well throughout the story. The visits from Roger, coaxing her, comforting her through her grief were well done. The shift in energy that she notices on her arm, in her hair, yet looking around and not seeing anyone there. The thought process that Lora's losing her mind, when the visits are real. I liked how she noticed the changes in herself and when she saw Roger there she yelled at him for things that bothered her throughout their marriage, instead of holding the anger inside. Things to work on ~ As her body trembled with the grief and loss, she felt the same invisible touch, a soothing hand, rub her back, bringing a peace and calm.~~rubbing perhaps would flow better Lora could no long feel the touch. ~~longer Personal Impressions ~ It's a good solid story of love and loss, and how one copes with losing their significant other. Harry was introduced nicely, at just the right time for Lora to be able to really start enjoying life again, looking toward the future. Write on!
