Rhythm/Rhyme: Good rhyming with lines two and four throughout the four stanzas. It flowed pretty well for me as I read through it. Summary: Out at the lake under the starlight he remembers, memories of a time when they were together and in love. He reminisces about his love until the loneliness sets in and he's alone waiting for her, but she's gone to heaven. Critique: A sweet poem of love and loss, that focused on the love and memories of the two of them together. Good imagery with the blue of the lake and the stars that glittered upon the water, making it easy to see a couple sitting upon the shore and watching the stars dance across the water. It's a really beauty picture you put into my mind. This was both a sweet and romantic piece, and then the sadness comes in knowing she's left this world leaving him behind to wait alone, yet the love remains. Love being the ultimate emotion that can invoke intense longing, and fill our hearts with such joy you feel as if you can fly across the . sky. It's hard to let go of the happiness when the bittersweet memories plague our minds. I enjoyed this poem of love and loss, as it speaks to so many people. Write on!
