Overall Impression:

This is a heartbreaking poem, dear author. It must have taken great courage to write it.

It speaks of a loss... a loss that causes the kind of pain that I cannot even imagine. It must be crushing to lose a child.

There are the memories, of course. Those cannot be taken away. Even though they may have a bittersweet tone to them, they are there - the shared experiences, the laughter. They are a reminder of what has been lost, yet can also be a source of comfort.

On the technical side of things, this poem reads well. It has a pleasant rhythm and flow to it. It is well-presented. It has a good rhyming scheme. You did an excellent job with it.

Suggestions:

My only suggestions are about punctuation and capitalisation, not about the actual content. I wouldn't change anything about the content - it's a heartfelt poem.

You use some punctuation in this poem. I suggest using it throughout. I think that would aid the overall clarity of the piece, and make it even easier to catch on to its rhythm.

I would also allow the capitalisation at the beginning of each line to depend upon the individual sentences within the piece. That would perfect the overall clarity and reading experience.

My Rating:

This is a strong poem. A very touching read.

I did have a couple of suggestions, but those are more of a personal preference than anything else. For that reason, I will still give the item a rating of 5 out of 5.
