A review for the House of Greyjoy ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** Review of Survivor of Ploesti Bombing Mission First and foremost, thank you for sharing your work . I am not an expert reviewer. I am just another writer, but I know it is the reviews that help us to perfect our craft. My opinions are just that; my opinions. This review was done for the Game of Crowns contest. OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: A story which is the recounting of the low level bombing raids of the Ploesti oil refineries in august of 1943. It is tole from the experience of tail gunner in what he said was a B-17 but had to B-24 because that was the aircraft which flew from North Africa to bomb these refineries. PLOT & CHARACTERS: The story is told through the memories of Stanley Edward Owings who was a tail gunner in a B17 who was moved to a B24 for this important mission. Low level bombing was not something the American army air force ever did as it was deadly for the crews. That is exactly that this recounting of his father portrays. It is an interesting story. SUGGESTIONS/EDITS: Include a little more of the history of the Operation Tidalwave. FINAL THOUGHTS: Thank you for sharing this story. dblameck My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
