Title of Work: : Week 1 Assignment, Vignette Assignment Author of Work: : Dance-Monkey - We've got this Date: : July 22 Plot: Farryn is taking her last tests of the year before graduating. Scene/Setting: Farryn is headed to take her last test of the school year. It is Anthropology three. The Professor's name is Mr. Bekker. She is reading a book, not a school book, as she heads to the building where the test will be given. She is confident in her ability to pass the test. She takes the test and finishes before the Professor tells everyone to put their pens down. Farryn heads back to her dorm room, finding Jess sitting on the front steps waiting for her. He asks her if she is ready to go. She tells him she wants to check the mail first. She is waiting for an important letter. Looking at the notice board she finds the letter from a university. Before she has a chance to open it, Jess again asks if she is ready to go. She pulls her large packed suitcase out of the closet and follows him out. He asks if she got the letter she was looking for and she say, No? Characters: Farryn - student Jess - Student and Farryn's best friend Professor Bekker Suggestions: I enjoyed the way you pulled everyone into the story, buy naming the street she was walking on, having her wonder if she had the right day and even stating which author she was reading. I took this Workshop also and loved my experience in it. Have you taken the story any further?
