Hi iguanamountain , This review is a part of "Game of Thrones" [13+]. Overall Impression: This is a powerful political poem, dear author, with an important message. The comfort found in the illusion of control. It is indeed a delusion when it's based on corruption, on lies, on a suppression of the truth, on ignoring what lurks in those dark corners. The world - or at least the human part of it, and the parts of it that are affected by humans - is in a mess. That cannot be solved by self-pride, empty slogans, hatred and ignorance. The doubt that surely must be felt should prod people to come to terms with their invisible dragons. On the technical side of things, this poem reads well. I had no trouble picking up on its rhythm and flow. It's nicely presented and easy on the eye. And I love your use of punctuation - this helps guide the reader and assists the overall clarity. Suggestions: I have no suggestions about the poem's content. I like it just the way it is. The only thing I'd suggest is allowing the capitalisation at the beginning of each line to depend upon the individual sentences within the piece. This would perfect the overall clarity and reading experience. My Rating: A strong, thoughtful poem. I was happy to read it. I did have one suggestion, but that's more of a personal preference than anything else. So, I will give your item a rating of 5 out of 5. Thank you for sharing your work, and write on!
