This is a touching little piece, dear author. You've managed to pack a punch within the space of a few words.

I love the tenderness you describe. The loyalty and dedication of the woman, the obvious love, the sadness. The message you express, that love is love. It's interesting, the thoughts of the observer. Then, in the final paragraph you reveal why he/she is watching. The final note of contrast is a great touch.

You have made an excellent, creative use of the prompt. I don't think that I could have come up with a story like this from those words!

I like the tone of the piece, and your wording is excellent. Overall, I think you've done a great job here.
