Hi Bernie Author Icon,

This review is a part of "Game of ThronesOpen in new Window. [13+]. *Smile*

Overall Impression:

This is a touching poem, dear author. It speaks of a love that is quite possibly unrequited - and all the pain and confusion that comes with it.

It is a fortunate person who loves someone and finds their love returned with equal passion. Too often, one loves the other more than they receive love in return. Promises can be made, and broken in such a situation. That will, inevitably, hurt. This poem expresses that very well, with vivid imagery of isolation, confusion, fear, heartbreak, and a touch of hope tinged with the onset of a realisation of the likelihood that this hope will soon be dashed.

On the technical side of things, this poem reads well. It has a good rhythm and flow. I like your use of punctuation, as this assists the overall clarity. Good work!

Suggestions:

I have no suggestions about the poem's content. I like it just the way it is. The only thing I'd suggest is allowing the capitalisation at the beginning of each line to depend upon the individual sentences within the piece. This would perfect the overall clarity and reading experience.

My Rating:

A touching poem, that made for a good read.

I did have one suggestion, but that's more of a personal preference. So, I will still give this item a rating of 5 out of 5.

Thank you for sharing your work, and write on!
