 Ahoy luckydog! it's WDC's 16th Birthday and time to celebrate.  's tasks in the "Invalid Item" so here I am checking our your blog.   The title of your blog is evocative and from what I have read really fits the vibe and intent of your writing. The symbolic picture is one of seeing things from a specific vantage point and I liked the notion of the comfort of a back porch as I see a rocker there looking out at the world passing by! Thanks for the memory--I jsut saw my grandpere on his porch in Belterre!  So already your blog has evoked a response. Well done! I notice you do not really have much of an introduction --or as some folks have a friendly greeting. I was thinking how cool it would be to create an aura of that porch with a bit of an invitation or appealing quote or note that puts your flair out there. Of course, this is just from an aesthetic point of view. We know the blogging is the thing.  And your heading does say what is inside the blog in a simple way. It does reflect again your WAY.   Your blog is simple and easy to follow with titles that drew me to the themes. I like the honesty and where you do only prompts that catch your interest and may add a bit extra about your day. Like in AUGUST 30 er... no title. *facpalm* LOL You do two prompts and then add the mundane tasks of retirement. Cleaning "the swamper" and Living the dream. I had to laugh. Life still goes on! I really enjoyed your entry on Suspenders! How interesting. You really show the frustration about your issue and how brilliant your wife is. Your wisdom about Vnnity is so true. If we could get past the Judgement mentality that the world conditions us to, what a happy place it would be. Your expression is a joy to read and filled with straight talk mixed with humour--and isn't life just that.
