Greetings, Ken, and happy belated 8th 'birthday' on here! This is not only a marvelous story, but a very magical one as well! I thought it was great! The fantasy element you put into it was perfect, and so was the concept about Gramma being able to save her memories in canning jars! Oddly enough, I remember seeing something on TV years ago (sci/fi, I believe) where this weird scientist was able to keep dead people's voices in jars. The spelling and grammar were flawless, as was the dialogue, and you could have ended it any better than by having grumpy old Charles join in on the cocoa, even if it was July! Yeah, talk about a special recipe! Great job, my friend! It was truly a pleasure to read, especially at this time of year! My only regret is that I can only give this 5 stars, because it's worthy of at least 50! Kee ponw ritin gon, PLEASE, and I hope the rest of your holidays are as bright and sparkling as this story made me feel today!
