Aloha, JOHN!
This isn't bad, and I know it's paranormal, but it's still a little vague. If you were going for the 'How (or why) did you bring a baby into a world like this?' idea, then I got it. But if there was some other underlying question, then I think I missed it.
But then isn't that partially what the genre of paranormal really is, anyway? Leaving the ending somewhat ambiguous and left to the reader's own imagination? I know it is in my book.
Other that a few missing commas (which are even questionable), this is well written, but I did see a couple of typos that do need fixing:
'...I see a glow of friendliness and sincerely I have never before...' (sincerity?)
'...beyond a very short time(,) I muse to myself .'
Otherwise, nice job.
