As a lover of horror, I thought this was good. I like how you built up the suspense, at least until that end. I did not see that coming, and apparently, Samantha didn't either. I just wonder what's going to happen to Jimmy and Peter when she wakes up! *Laugh*
The spelling and grammar were flawless, and it's very deserving of that ribbon!
That little bit of humor you added to it was a nice touch, too. I love a little jocundity mixed in with horror.

“No, silly. The beast.”
