Greetings, Historygeek402! I noticed your post in (item:303715} and wanted to check out your port. Glad I did too!
As a fellow lover of the paranormal and ghosts (I write horror), I thought this was pretty good, and I like your idea of writing individual poems about abandoned locations!
Sorry, I digress.
This is neat, and I'm guessing it's a real story, right? I could certainly believe it, since I saw my mother a few months after she passed away. Seriously, but that's for another time...
You did a great job of telling this, and I'm sure those citizens of the neighboring town of Shaver are mystified! But considering the history of the story, I noticed you didn't say they were frightened. And why should they be?
Flawless spelling and grammar (thank you!), and the whole piece read smoothly!
I'm interested to see more of these stories, HG! Let me know when you start filling up your portfolio!
