I like this! The idea of having the Reverend and his wife over for tea and scones is a perfectly upper class thing to do, and it works perfectly for this story. You did an excellent job with the imagery and the dialogue, and having the wife sit with her back to the house so they could get a full view of it was a clever trick! Yeah, Eleanor definitely got a full view, didn't she? *Laugh* I can just picture her there with tea shooting out of her nose while the host's husband's bum was staring at her through that frosted glass!
Great spelling and telling, and nice job using those prompt words! It's no wonder it won The Daily FF!
