Hello there, WriterHandler!
This is pretty good for your first piece on here, and it says a lot about how much we can get caught up in our own writing without even realizing the passage of time! But that's actually one of the things I love about writing: being able to go into my world and escaping the problems of this real one! Plus I can invent new characters to my own liking and do whatever I want to them! *Smirk* Yeah, it's a sense of power, even it is only imaginary!
As far as going to sleep and dreaming that you were still writing, I've had a similar experience. When I was pulling green chain in a saw mill when I was younger (a very hard, laborious, and monotonous job), I actually came home one night and dreamt I was doing it all over again! Needless to say I woke up more exhausted than I was before I laid down to begin with! I look forward to seeing more of your pieces on here in the future!
