First Impression: The title of this poem aroused my curiosity. The first stanza establishes the theme and plot of the poem. The rhythm moves the plot and patriotic emotions forward at a good p ace.

What I like: The fifth stanza is my favorite because it emphasizes one of the meanings of patriotism.

Suggestions: I encountered no distractions.

Final Thoughts: I enjoyed reading this thought provoking poem because it made me consider the meaning of patriotism.
