oh my gosh! second scary tale I've read in two days on WDC that gave me chills all over! (and these are the first two in a very long time that SCARED me so, in a lifetime of devouring Horror over 6.5 decades). I was astonished about the grave-robbing, considering you mention that this family cememtery only housed older graves, those "before fortunes were made," so I wondered WHY grave robbers? (Unless someone was looking to make a Hand of Glory??) Then I was more astonished that these grave robbers are armed, dangerous, and aggressive. Poor Jerry! Guess when he bought the ranch, he "bought the farm," the wrong farm. Then that ending! Blew me away (not to mention how it affected Jerry). Very powerful impact; I am astounded to find this impact in a flash fiction story. Excellent
