Hello there!

We are both participating in the "I Write in 2019" Activity, and I just posted one of my contest entries right after your post. Therefore, I will be reviewing this particular piece of your writing. This is what brought me to your work.


- - Kudos - -
- - What a symbolic and meaningful piece!
- - I often submit to this contest myself, so I am well aware of how difficult/challenging it can be to package enough of the depth and meaning one intends into this short number of syllables.
- - You've used bolding, font, placement, and font color creatively and effectively.
- - I enjoy concrete poetry and have had difficulty setting up items in this format or their shapes on WdC, so I felt a lot of appreciation for what you had set up with such visual significance.
- - No errors or distractions from spelling, capitalization, etc.

- - Favorite, unique, compelling word choice and/or phrases - -
- - the shape and color of "meanders"


- - Imagery / Figures of Speech / Figurative Language - -
Metaphor - - "Love is a river"
To me, the references to the meandering, the rocky caverns, the tangled forest, and the green meadows were all metaphorical also. I think we all could assign portions of our lives to those types of locations and the feelings they contain/represent.
Strong Imagery along with the metaphorical phrases . . . so difficult to squeeze so much into an extremely short piece such as this!
