Hi, struggle2bherd, I am Prosperous Snow celebrating Author Icon, I am reviewing "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window. as part of a "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window. assignment.

First Thoughts: The first stanza establishes the speaker, theme, and mood of the poem. The first person point of view is a good choice for this poem because it expresses all the emotions that go thought the mind of family members who watch kin suffering from dementia. The rhythm moves the narrative and emotions forward at a good pace.

What I Like: The questions are my favorite part of this poem because they are question commonly ask, even if it is silently, by the family of an individual suffering from any type of dementia.

Suggestions: The only distractions I encountered was my own emotions, while reading this poem. My mother suffered from Alzheimer's disease, and this poem expressed the emotions I felt while caring for her.

Final Thoughts: I am giving this poem a 5.0 because of the way it expresses emotions.
