Greetings! I am reviewing this piece as part of a review prompt for Week 4 of August's Mental Health Writer's Alliance Challenge. Please be advised that this review is solely my opinion of the piece reviewed.

Theme/Subject Matter: Friendship/ That special "Other Half"

Originality/Creativity: I feel this is a nice way to express that longing to find that one true friend.

Emotion/Impact: In the beginning, the piece made me sad. However, it seems to feel more hopeful as one reads on.

My Favorite Part: The last two lines of your piece, "If I have this day, before my days end, Then I will be at peace with the world." was my favorite part. It gives the feeling that rather than material things, friendship and companionship are some of the things held most dear to the speaker.

My Suggestions: In the third line of your piece, the word "and" does not seem to fit. The piece also seems to me more like a freestyle poem than prose. - These things are why I just gave you a 4.5 instead of 5 stars.

Summary: All in all, I liked this piece. It is full of hope and shows what should be valued in life - friendship. Thank you for the nice read!
