 | Words do hurt  [E] Think before you speak  |
| (4.0)  Welcome to WDC from "Newbie Welcome Wagon" ! Greetings, Miss Rena! This is a sad, although well-written piece, and it says a lot about how much just a few simple words can hurt. I remember something when I was in grade school when one of my classmates was always being verbally abused because of his weight. I wasn't then, nor have I ever teased anybody. Mind you, this was all the way back in the 70s. But one year he didn't return to school after our Christmas vacation. Turns out he found his father's pistol and took his own life.  I'll never forget that, or his name, Milton.I'm no expert on poetry, but I think the meter was a little bit off in a couple of lines. But the rhyming was excellent. One tiny niggle: Hearing them replay as i fall asleep (I) I read your bio, and I'm so sorry for the loneliness you've experienced. Hopefully you're a little older now and things have gotten better. After all, you've got two beautiful daughters to look after, right?  Kee ponw ritin gon, Miss Rena, and welcome to WdC! If you like to write, then you're going to love it here!
