Welcome to WDC from "Newbie Welcome Wagon" ! Hello there, Tina! This is a really good piece about how you found out that writing was in your blood, so to speak, and I'm glad it did! I'm even happier that it was a creative writing class teacher that helped you! I also took Creative Writing in high school, but not cuz I was looking for an easy A. I already knew I wanted be a writer, and my CW teacher was the best teacher I ever had! I totally agree that getting a reaction, whatever it may be, from our readers is one of the writer's ultimate goals. And I can see why Mr. Flemming reacted the way he did, considering the descriptions I assume you used for your ! You didn't say what grade he gave you, but if he was true to his word, then you should have received an A for following directions so well! "Ewww, Yuck!" Well done, my friend! Kee ponw ritin gon, thanks for sharing this, and welcome to WdC! If you like to write (DUH! ), then you're going to love it here! PS-I can still remember my high school CW teacher's name too! Peggy Solletti! PSS-You might want to get your bioblock (biography) set up so we can know a little something about you (hobbies, favorite books/authors, location, etc.), but that's up to you, of course. PSSS-And since you’re new here, perhaps you’d like to check out "Noticing Newbies" and introduce yourself to the rest of the community if you haven’t already.
PSSSS-If you want more exposure for your items you can put them on the Please Review Page or The Shameless Plug Page under Community on the left hand side.
