Welcome to WDC from "Newbie Welcome Wagon" ! Hello there, Salt&Pepper! This isn't bad, and having lost all of my elders and being the patriarch of my family (and blood line) now, I can totally relate to this. I lost my mom when I was just 11, so along with my father, my grandmother (her mother) helped raise me from thereafter. At the age, it was major shock, and I didn't want to believe she was gone. But ironically, it did help me deal with death later in life. I was able to accept it (for lack of a better word), and when my father eventually died at 81 twenty-eight years later, I was pretty much expecting it. Hell, I'm now at the age where can accept and expect my own death without too much worry. I never used antidepressants or anything else, but if that's what helped you get through the pain, that's good. Kee ponw ritin gon, my friend, and you have my condolences on your loss.
