Bon jour, Tina!
I was born and raised in the city for the 1st 11 years of my life before we moved to the country, and thank God we did! If we'd stayed in the city, I don't think I would have made it to my 18th birthday the way I was going!
I thought this was great! Your imagery was perfect, and I can just picture your boyfriend trying to escape from that barn after you seduced him into it!
Yeah, you might be mean, but that's what that dang city-slicker gets for thinking he's all high and mightier than a nice little country gal! *Laugh*
Seriously though, there's a big difference between the two, and although I still know have my city 'street smarts', I still don't care for the city too much! In fact, I'll be moving back to my hometown of Weed, CA come this next June! It's in Siskiyou County, where the bovine population is like 100 times the human population! *Cow*
Excellent piece, Tina! I don't know if this is based on a personal real life experience or not, but it sure sounds like it!
