Hello there, George!
As a hard-core patriot of this incredible country, I thought this was pretty good. The words you used were excellent and appropriate, and with this last year being the 75th anniversary of D-Day, I know those soldiers who stormed Normandy Beach would be proud to read them, and you as well for writing them!
My father fought in WWII in the Navy and a half-brother who fought in Vietnam, and the Stars and Stripes will forever be sacred to me! *Salute* *Countryus*
As for the technical part of this review, I'm no poetry expert, but the meter seemed good, and the rhyming was spot on!
