Greetings once again, Lee!
I'm no expert on poetry so don't know what style this is (although I've think I've read it before), but I thought this poem was great!
What do they call these? Storeums? Something like that anyway, but I like reading stories in poetry form. Reminds me a little of Dr. Seuss in a way.
The idea of these sailors becoming stranded on an island with cannibals was a cool concept, and I like the dark, albeit mild, undertones. That stanza about 'slaughter' was great! And tasty! *Hungry* *Laugh*
They rhyming was great, and from what I could tell, so was the meter.
The ending was a little ambiguous though. Will Captain Miller be able to save his crewman from these savage islanders?
Or should I 'stay tuned' for chapter 2?
