It is my pleasure to read your poem, Spring is Here, and give you a review. Schnujo's next semester starts bid on my package at "Invalid Item"  where I listed three poem reviews and five story reviews. She wants me to gift these reviews to a newbie. I've picked you for the three poems.

Message/Theme: The message this author give for Spring is how am I going to get through this. While most of us are happy spring is here, she and her allergies make it a tough time to enjoy the beauty coming to life once again.

The theme: Spring, noooo!

Narrative/Style: The narrative is well done, showing the reason why this is not the best time when plagued with allergies.

Form/Flow/Tone/Mood: She created an acrostic poem out of Spring is Here! Well done!

The flow is good, showing the reader the unpleasantness of the spring season when allergies flare up.

The tone is earnest and intense, allergies are no laughing matter.

The mood is gloomy, annoyed with what she has to deal with.

Imagery/Pace: The imagery shows her misery -
"Sneezing, sniffing, runny noses, oh, my!"

The pace moves along with more unpleasantries that all this beauty outside can make her so miserable.

FAVORITE LINE:

Sneezing, sniffling, runny noses, oh my!
Pray tell me, that the flowers are not coming alive again,
Rendering me useless for yet another season
In the air, they release their venom and I am left helpless!

OPINION: My son has the same problem so I feel for you. Allergies are no laughing matter!
