What a sweet little story. Gary is definitely a hero for putting up with so much trauma. I am glad he remembered the spell and returned home. I remember the hoax with the pictures of a gnome in all kinds of exotic locations.

I wonder if the Smith's noticed he was gone or recognized his picture on the internet. Did they miss poor little Gary?

Were the flowers in the garden safe through his absence, there is another short story in that tale of his friends covering for him and worrying about where he was. Would they have access to the internet to see his pictures?
