Happy WdC Anniversary from

Hallo!
I came to your portfolio because it's your WdC Anniversary. You seem to have quite an interesting variety of items! I'll probably re-visit your portfolio to read some of your essays.

This poem has a rather sinister feel to it - right from the layout to the words and verse structure. I used to be a copywriter in advertising and immediately interpreted this as the effect of advertising campaigns on people. If you've heard the Simon and Garfunkel song 'The Sound of Silence', this reminded me of the verse starting: "And the people bowed and prayed, To the neon God they made."

I have no suggestions for this poem, it's great as is. I think all those who fall for media hype should read this!

Write On!
