  Greetings, marymuses, I am reviewing this today as a judge for the "Writing 4 Kids-CLOSED till Spring" . First of all, my reviews are intended to be helpful and encouraging, not hurtful in any way. Use what you feel works for you, and leave the rest. Visually appealing Easy to understand Followed the prompt & rules Aw, this really bums me out! Your poem is awesome, but the rules stated No Poetry for this round. The prompt was to write a first chapter (non-rhyming) of a children's book. I sure hope you enter again though! You are clearly talented!  That said, I'll continue on with my review... Conflict Fergus is sad because his friends are bullying him. Characters: Fergus the frog and his friends Setting: Outdoors, near a pond Technicalities:Stanza 3 His friends mean jokes  His friends' mean jokesAlso, just a few areas where the meter is thrown off a bit, but WOW...great little story here!  Favorites:Words can hurt and make you sad, Or they can heal and make you glad.  Final thoughts: What a great poem! This would make such a cute little picture book. You definitely have talent!
