This is a very interesting story.

Ronnie's friend Jake is apparently some kind of very dark and ancient form of inhuman life. I am not sure what he is. It is this uncertainty that makes the story so good. Is he a vampire, or something worse?

I like that Jake's intentions remain hidden until the very end.
