Undoubtedly, it is indeed a thoughtful poem. We, the people of the material world, are in a rut. Every day, the chance of rescue decreases rapidly. Despite several failures, we do not awake. So, are not we insane? The narrator asks this question wisely. Why do we not try to do something else for better results? The teller wonders to see our activities.
Though it is a free-verse poetry. But, the artistry touches the highest peak. That is the prime beauty of poetry.
I hope the poet's creativity will mesmerize us in future, too.
