Who is the dark figure haunting Emily's dreams?

This chapter also fulfils our expectations. There is no doubt about it. The central character of the story Emily is established here in full. But there are two characters also starting to play an important role in the story. They are Cathy and Josh, especially Josh. In this chapter, Emily also sees that dark figure haunting in Emily's dreams, in the hypnotist's tent. The nightmare returns but how is it possible? Perhaps, the past sins of her father may be the cause of her insecurity feelings. That is indicated here. What is the reality? It is unknown. A thrilling story is waiting for us. We are eagerly waiting for what will happen next.
It gains a nice pace. Carry on.
