It is a much-needed introduction that is given by the writer. The author remains to the point. Hannah and Luis became friends before they entered the school. In reality, their mothers were close friends. So, Hannah and Luis got an ample opportunity to come closer to each other. I hope this close relationship will play an important role in the story which is nicely established by the writer. I also hope that other writers, as it is an interactive story, also follow the same.
If we analyse the character of the two children, the attitudes of Hanna is normal as per her age whereas The behaviour of Luis is mismatched to his age. Most probably it will be a key point in the story.
Overall, nice beginning. Go ahead.
