HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary Reviews" Hello Mouse says gobble gobble ! Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I appreciate your kindnesses throughout the year and your participation in Habit Heroes and wanted to give you a review. I remembered this cool raffle of yours and the choice was made. I hope you find this review uplifting and encouraging. I wish you a very happy anniversary month too! INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW: This is a great raffle with adorable graphics. Well done! You kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end. Well done! MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK: I especially love the unique touch that you have this going on: "30% of proceeds go to the winning member's favorite charity." A real fun wildcard thing that hopefully encourages people to participate. Well done! I like that you're very clear about ticket prices (some raffles really make you search for it). Well done! I like that you're also very clear about how the funds will be used. Well done! I didn't notice any spelling mistakes on your raffle page. Well done! You have a nice, consistent theme throughout and the colors you chose and your use of white space work well visually. Well done! IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER: I have a few ideas to help you make your raffle even better, if you are open to constructive criticism. If not, no worries, just hop on down to the next section. Okay, yay for you, brave Mouse soul! In the description you state that "next run will be February 5th through the 28th." As this follows a period from the sentence before it, I believe the start of this new sentence should be capitalized. If you wanted to make the change, it would then look like this: "Next run will be February 5th through the 28th." Easy peasy. As I write this, it is February 6th, 2024. And According to that sentence I just referenced in the bullet above, and another place in the main part of the raffle, it should be open. But it appears to still be closed. If it were clearly open, I'd have bought a few tickets. I hope you're okay! If it is open, I recommend pinning a post to the top saying so, so people know for sure. And if it isn't, I'd recommend changing the dates to when it will be open. If you are sick or something and are able to just post that it's on hiatus, I'm sure people would understand that too. I didn't look all that hard, but I didn't see a forum post stating who won last time? I seem to remember a news feed post, but it'd be nice to have that posted in the forum too. And maybe even on the main page (it could be in a drop down menu), so people who don't know and trust you already can see that you did actually pick a winner and distribute things last time. That might help engender more trust for new customers. As with any review, these are my ideas, thoughts and opinions. Feel free to use what serves you and ignore what doesn't. My intention is to be helpful. CONCLUSION: You have an adorable charity auction that looks great. Well done! Thank you for sharing your time, community spirit, and writing with the Writing.Com community! May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance! PWheeler
