I'm JACE, and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "Looking Back" .
I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story.
Overall Impression. Your offering is a great idea for all writer's to complete at the end of a year to assess his or her writing accomplishments during that year. Most writers ... uh, most people in fact seldom take time to look back on their accomplishments. Myself included. Now that I see such an idea in print, I think I may change my focus in December.
It's easy to see why your offering was selected as a winner in the contest to which it was submitted. Your opening paragraphs personifies the entire premise of the article to each person who reads it.
I too have found myself overwhelmed both with life events and my desire to write and participate more on WDC. It seems to be a common dilemma of anyone with interests.
What a treat it must be to find out that you actually had a very successful year, as defined by writing successes of goals set at the year's start.
I wonder if you continue to take stock of each year's activities.
Technical and Editorial Considerations. In this section I normally list those areas that relate specifically to the mechanics of your writing--punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc.
Nothing to report here. Great job.
My Rating. 5.0. Excellent offering.
Thank you for sharing this offering. Please accept these comments as offered in friendship and support. They are but my humble opinion.
