I worked as a teacher for about a year and this story very accurately captures the experience of being one very much. I still remember the first day jitters I had and relate to how actually meeting the students the focus shifts to looking after them. This story is really well described making the scenes depicted easy to visualize. Subtle touches like the cinnamon latte and the bell help me to imagine the experience. The description of the students (such as Samantha) are well done and they are easy to picture. This is very well written. Thank you for sharing it.
