This poem gets to the crux of so many human interactions, and why things turned out that way. One person unable to experience or express softer emotions, and the other trying desperately to get through and failing for no fault of their own.
The poem provokes many thoughts of nature-v/s-nurture. How much of a person's personality is dictated by what they were born with, and how much has been influenced by early environment, and does this vary for different people ... ? I'm a Harry Potter fan and have thought about this for characters like Snape, Voldemort and Harry himself.
A special mention of the centered layout and coloured text, I like that!
I have no suggestions for improvement.
